For anybody is not a secret that in recent years the market for bearings in Bulgaria and in many other countries, offers some production, supplied with questionable quality (made of steel that is inappropriate, often with deviations from the standard sizes) and unknown origin.

This creates the preconditions for their frequent defective and hence increase the stay of the equipment, money for repairs and losses on non-produced products. According to information from the Internet, they are mainly produced in Asian countries, and sold under famous brands of counterfeit producers and represent about 10 percent of all world traded in bearings.

Estimates are that in the next 5 years their share will double.

The significant losses, which are suffering the world's leading producer of more wide spread of counterfeits. Besides that, through misuse of their trade marks infringe their legitimate intellectual property rights, they suffer losses from unfair competition due to lower prices and mostly from erosion of their prestige. There are rare cases where the final recipients are frustrated by a producer in the world only because they used production misled by false marking and packaging. Therefore, according to leading manufacturers worldwide counterfeit bearings are already a problem throughout the bearing industry and to limit their need to exploit all possible technical and legal remedies.

Some of the steps in this direction are:

• Recommend purchase of bearing, take place from reliable suppliers, but the best - from their official distributors, which usually are announced in their sites;
• introduce specific quality certificates that contain the information necessary for the device, have a variety of protections such as: special watermarks, color markings, microprint, copy protection, etc.;
• published in their website lists of rogue companies distributing counterfeit goods, as well as photos and identified the correct markings false;
• use protective markings on the camps, allowing the most accurate to determine it was genuine, even after his long service;
• introducing electronic chips on the label;
• announcing phones and email addresses of contact in cases of suspected counterfeit acquisition of bearings, bearing their trademarks and provide opportunities for the respective expertise.
